Metallurgical Consulting
Metallurgical Engineering is the science and technology of processing materials to extract, refine, and
recycle metals. Thus, Metallurgy is a domain of materials science that studies the physical and chemical behavior
of metallic elements, their material intermetallic compounds, and their mixtures.
Sunlight Industrial Technology, Inc. provides metallurgical expertise to global industrial clients through its in-house expertise and its wide connections to both consulting and manufacturing industries. Sunlight has teaming relations with some of the best consultants in the metal processing field.
Foundry & Casting
Metals in a factory are cast into shapes by melting them into a hot liquid, pouring the metal into a mold, and removing the mold material or casting after the metal has solidified when it cools.
There are two types of foundries, which are:
a) ferrous foundries which produce iron & steel castings
b) non-ferrous foundries, which produce castings of luminium-based alloys(lead, zinc, nickel, magnesium),
copper-based alloys (brass, bronze), and other metal alloys.
Sunlight Industrial Technology, Inc. provides cutting edge furnace and oven technologies and casting engineering solutions to meet our clients' needs
for continuous improvements to become and remain world-level players.
Forging Technology
Forging is a process of shaping metal and increasing its strength by hammering or pressing. In most forging processes, an upper die
is forced against a stationary lower die. If the upper die or hammer is dropped, the process is commonly known as drop forging.
To increase the force of the blow, power is sometimes applied to gravity.
The number of blows struck is carefully gauged to give the maximum effect but with minimum wear on the die.
Sunlight Industrial Technology, Inc. has a vast collection of resources consisting of forging consultants, plant operators,
and engineering companies to cooperate to provide the solutions to forging industry and to create soft assets that are just
as valuable as hard assets.
